The Red Baron
Manfred von Richthofen, more popularly known as The Red Baron due to the colour of his aircraft, was a German WW1 fighter pilot ace officially credited with a little over 80 kills.
The original artwork is framed behind museum quality low reflective art glass and is complete with a full size reproduction “Blue Max” medal, awarded to him in 1917. Officially named “Pour le Mérite”, this was Germany’s highest military medal awarded during WW1 (in spite of its very French sounding name). He was killed in combat on 21 April 1918.
Prints are limited to just 20 and are of Manfred von Richthofen only.
