Yayoi Kusama

One of 6 “hares as artists” I drew as a fun nod to 6 iconic artists of our time. This is 92 year old talented Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama who works primarily in sculpture and installation, but is also active in painting, performance, film, fashion, poetry, fiction, and other arts. She has a lot of collaborations worldwide and I am particularly drawn to her incredible talent for individual creativity which uses vivid colours, shapes and of course, dots.

The entire set of all 6 hares is presented in one 50cmx38cm mount and consists of Grayson Perry, David Hockney, Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol and Yayoi Kusama. I would like to acknowledge that I have captured some of these artists’ original works as part of the construct of the pictures I have created.

Please be aware the dimensions of the mount for each individual item is NOT A4 but 30cm squared.

NOTE: A4 artwork is posted flat in a card-backed A4 envelope, all others are rolled in a tube for added protection in transit.
