Art in the Park 2024 : 3 - 4 August
I am back at Leamington’s main art event of the year - Art in the Park - for the first time following a 2 year gap and will be in Jephson Gardens at Gazebo no.1 (to the left of the clock tower near The Aviary café). With new work and to celebrate my recent Associate membership with the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists I shall be raffling off a framed original piece of work I’d sell at £750 for £2 a ticket, so if that grabs your fancy then pop along and buy a ticket! I, along with 3 other specially selected artists, will be collaborating with David Curtlin (of Halo Print & Frame near Stratford) (www.haloframing.co.uk tel 07790 778519) who will be running a demonstration at “Workshop no.1” over the 2 days showing the process involved in producing a finished framed artwork from the time it was delivered to him by the artist.
With decent weather promised come along and enjoy a weekend of art, music and food. See you there I do hope!!!

Well it’s that time yet again when all us creator types open their houses to the public and invite you along to come and see what is new! This is a really good event which I have been taking part in for some years now and you are most welcome to come along and see if there is anything you can be tempted to take away! MCM Comic Con @ NEC Birmingham 1-3 December 2023
For the second year running I am excited to be exhibiting in the “Small Press & Artist Alley” for shop independent artists and creators.
On offer this year are comic book creators, other artists and illustrators the opportunity to share their talents in front of the thousands attending the event at Birmingham’s NEC. It will be a place we will be able to sell original work, sketches, prints, books, comics, and cards and more … so if you’re after a unique hand made Christmas present then look no further!
With TV and film stars, independent creators, the best in UK cosplay and all the little moments you just don’t get anywhere else, the event is, like previously, expected to generate a huge buzz so is an opportunity not to be missed!

RHS Autumn Show 2023 @ Malvern Three Counties Showground
As a proud member of the Cotswold Craftsmen Guild I am exhibiting with the guild at the Malvern Three Counties Showground from Friday 22nd September until Sunday 24th September 2023.
According to the RHS website, the Autumn Show celebrates country living with vintage vehicles and fashions, harvest competitions, rural crafts and local, artisan food & drink markets. RBSA Drawing Prize 2023 Summer 2023
I am exhibiting “Fat Boy” (https://www.guychapman.co.uk/drawings/fat-boy) at the current RBSA gallery for their first ever drawing prize. I am extremely proud to say this picture has been awarded “Highly Commended” which is a great achievement!
The exhibition runs until 15th October and is at 4 Brook Street, St. Paul’s, Birmingham B3 1SA
LSA (East Lodge) Summer Exhibition "The Art of Imagination" 5th July - 30th July 2023
I shall be exhibiting my art in the East Lodge venue, Jephson Gardens Leamington Spa, during July. I have called it the Art of Imagination and will be exhibiting some frames prints, mounted prints, cards and original artwork which you can come along and see (and purchase!).
East Lodge is open from Wednesday to Sunday every week and there are residential artists there you can visit as well as other regular exhibitions including the large one in Leamington town centre just outside the Royal Priors shopping centre as you head to Regent Street (used to be the Cath Kidston shop). That one is fantastic to visit and has original artwork and artisan goods made by LSA members for you to buy.

Covent Garden Market Leamington Spa Sunday 28th May 2023
Another local street market offering all manner of locally made foods, drinks, arts and crafts by some very skilled artists and artisans.
It is more important now than ever before to come out and support your local traders, we need to keep independence on the high street which keeps diversity of products well and truly alive. Where else can you find one-off items other than events like this?! We need to protect consumer choice and this is a great way to do it, many of us (like myself) are self employed and rely heavily on the custom of local folk to keep us going … so I hope to see you there, it is really super important to give us all support.
Easter Fest Leamington Spa Monday 10th April 2023
This is a brand new event in Leamington, sited along the Parade, Leamington (CV32 4BL).
There’ll be arts and craft stalls to bring fresh ideas and décor to your home, delicious hot and cold food and drinks to tempt your taste buds and activities for kids including an egg hunt race, face painting and colouring competitions as well as some music.

Christmas Market Leamington Spa Sunday 18th December 2022
The third and final Christmas market event of the year in Leamington’s Parade so if you’re still looking for something special come by and see what’s on offer. There is always a good selection of greetings cards, mounted and framed prints and originals as well as my creative art book for children “Use Your Imaginaria!” and “The Old Man of Tiritiri Matangi” which I illustrated in 2018, forwarded by the one and only David Bellamy and few copies remaining now, all signed by the author Berni Albrighton and myself.

LEAMINGTON ART FEST 22 : Saturday 3rd December 2022
The Art Fest – set in the Victorian splendour of Leamington’s All Saints’ Parish on the first Saturday of December - will showcase some of the finest examples of fine art and design, created by local artists.
Friday 2nd is a preview evening from 5.30pm until 7pm and Saturday 3rd December the event opens to the general public from 10am until 7pm. I’ll be there looking forward to meeting whoever it is who comes by, I love chatting with you guys so please come in and, of course, with Christmas looming, it will be a great opportunity to get some unique artworks for your friends and family :-)

LSA East Lodge Exhibition 28 September - 23 October 2022
Situated in Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa, is the “East Lodge” artist studio of Leamington Studio Artists (LSA) (https://lsa-artists.org/)
I will be exhibiting here from Wednesday 28th September until Sunday 23rd October and will be present during those times working on new material! Please come in to see a display of original work, a mix of framed and mounted giclée prints and unique fun greetings cards, as well as my “Use Your Imaginaria!” creative art book for children which I designed to help encourage kids use their wonderful creative brains!

I am going to be at this prestigious 3 day event at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern for 2022’s Autumn show. I will be sited inside one of the large sheds as a guest artist with the Cotswold Craftsmen Guild with whom I once belonged.

Atelier Beside the Sea (Brighton) 14th July - 3rd September 2022
I have been selected as as one of 130 artists from around the UK displaying up to 250 pieces of art* at this fantastic seafront Brighton venue. It occupies 3 large arches comprising 2 gallery spaces, a shop specialising in work by designer makers and a teaching and event space set between the piers, just to the East of the Shelter Food Hall market down from West Street.
The event will take place for 7 weeks and this exhibition is designed to show new work from a wide range of established and emerging artists in a friendly, popular commercial gallery.

Warwickshire Open Studios 21st birthday exhibition from 8.10.21 - 9.1.22
The Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum are hosting Warwickshire Open Studio’s 21st birthday celebration from the 8th of October 2021 until the 9th of January 2022.
There are 10 2D artists and 11 3D artists taking part and I have been selected as one of the 2D artists, so I have created a special piece just for the exhibition (which will be for sale). It is quite an honour to have been selected and I am very grateful for the opportunity to show my work alongside so many other talents. Please do come and have a look during this one-off event.
The gallery is open from Thursday to Sunday 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

There are individually selects traders to ensure superior quality, uniqueness and that a wide range of products are available.
Within the stunning surroundings of the historic Regency architecture, you’ll find over 60 attractive stalls brimming with goodies, unusual gifts, and artisan food and drink.
There’s a strong emphasis on local, British and artisan amongst the traders. MINI FARM ATTRACTION!
You can visit a Mini Farm on Sunday 3rd October! There’ll be sheep, a Miniature Donkey, Kune Kune Pigs, Ducks, Chickens, Pygmy goats and friendly farm dogs.
The farm is very hands on and all animals can be touched & petted!

I will be exhibiting here for the second time in the “Small Press & Artist Alley” during another year’s exciting summer exhibition of the LFCC.
In addition to the latest and greatest film and TV actors, this area offers comic book creators and other artists and illustrators the opportunity to share their talents in front of the thousands attending the big event at London Olympia.
Sitting alongside the featured Comic Zone guests, Small Press and Artist Alley exhibitors will have a dedicated showcase area in which they can not only promote original work and sketch but also sell prints, books, comics, cards, badges, buttons and any other merchandise featuring their art.
Situating the tables in close proximity to established comic writers and artists is expected to generate a huge buzz so is an opportunity not to be missed!

Society of Graphic Fine Art “Draw 19” The Drawing Society. Art in the Gardens 2019 : Sheffield 7-8 September
The annual Art in the Gardens event, held in Sheffield Botanical Gardens, is arguably the largest outdoor art exhibition in the north of England with artists, craft makers and visitors coming from throughout the UK.
This event is a truly wonderful opportunity to buy the perfect piece of art or craft direct from the artists, whilst enjoying the perfect surroundings that the gardens have to offer. Thousands of pieces of art and craft on show and for sale and there’s a preview night on Friday 6th September.

Leamington "Open 2019 Exhibition"
“15th March - 27th May - A showcase for artists based in the West Midlands”
